What features does the Asian diet?

One of its main features is that this diet provides only 10% fat of total calories to provide the diet. This is a substantial difference from Western diets that provide between 25 to 30% fat of total calories allowed.

Another feature is the high fiber content, provided by the same plant foods that provide healthy fats, such as seaweed, dried fruits, vegetables, whole grains and seeds.

It is a diet, whose intake of proteins of high biological value is based mostly fish, chicken meat being second choice. As eggs are consumed in a very low proportion. Dairy animals are largely replaced by similar vegetable products such as soy milk, tofu or tempeh.

What are the benefits of oriental diet?

Breakfast: One cup of green tea with a slice of bread with tofu. A citrus.

Lunch: A bowl of miso soup. A bowl of brown rice with mushrooms and broccoli steamed (flavored with soy sauce). A fresh fruit. 1 cup of green tea.

Snack: A glass of soymilk. Two brown rice crackers.
Dinner: A bowl of miso soup. A serving of cooked steamed fish salad with red cabbage, shredded carrots, bean sprouts and cucumber (flavored with soy sauce). 1 cup of green tea.

While this diet may seem a healthy diet, it is important that you consider that the best diet for you is that specially developed for you, considering your needs and tastes.
