Easter is coming and the fish is the food chosen to develop special Easter meals. Therefore, do not miss this recipe for steamed fish oriental style. Not only it is appropriate for this time, but is also low in fat and calories.
At this time of year for sure you are looking for a different and special recipe to celebrate Holy Week and Easter, not get out of the diet.
While preparations rich in calories, such as threads or chocolate egg eaten in this celebration, it can also be a good time to eat healthy and provide few calories.
A good example of this recipe is steamed fish with an oriental touch.
Oriental style steamed fish
Calories per serving: 200
Protein: 29 gr.
Carbohydrates: 4 g.
Fat: 7 g.
Preparation time: 30 minutes.
2 trout fillet of about 150 gr. each
A small piece of fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped.
1 small clove garlic chopped.
Chopped 1 small red chili. (Remove the seeds)
3 small Chinese cabbage or cabbage (but you get you can replace it with endive which is similar).
2 tablespoons soy sauce or soy.
Place the fish fillets, side by side, on a sheet of aluminum foil.
Season with ginger, garlic, chili and lemon zest.
Finally, sprinkle with lemon juice, place the leaves of Chinese cabbage, endive failing and pour soy sauce.
Close the foil without excessive pressure, but making sure it is securely closed.
Place the “packages” in a special machine for steaming (if you have, place the foil with the fish inside on a heatproof dish and this over a pan of water). Simmer, covered with a lid, for about 15 minutes.
This recipe is very easy to perform. If you do not find trout, Chinese cabbage, endive, you can adapt this preparation replacing the fish for hake, codling, salmon or sea fish you get. While in the case of plants you can replace them with greens, such as spinach or chard, broccoli but can also go very well with this preparation.
Also, if you wish, you can accompany this preparation with a portion (size large cup) brown rice.
