The turkey, as long as you use a lean portion, can work perfectly as a meat alternative within a diet to lose weight. You can try this simple French-style turkey, which will also serve as a recipe for a chicken breast. A few vegetables, a touch of dressing and you will see how rich it remains, while still being light at all.
A fillet of turkey breast without skin or bones of about 150 grams
Half an onion
Red pepper half
A celery stew
A spoonful of soy sauce
A spoonful of ketchup or ketchup
The juice of an orange
Salt and pepper
Place the turkey to brown on both sides in a hot pan, sprayed with vegetable spray. Remove fillet from skillet and reserve. On the same background, season the finely chopped onion, pepper and celery. When they begin to be tender, add the soy sauce, orange juice, ketchup or ketchup, let it boil and reincorporate the breast.
Let it cook completely and form a sauce at your favorite spot. Serve the breast with the French sauce, correct salt and pepper and the dish will be ready to take to the table. It is perfect to accompany with some grilled or steamed vegetables. Or, why not, with a good salad.
