Many people refuse salads because they think they do not satisfy them like a meal really should. But, of course, it always depends on what is put to the recipe in question. This we can assure you does not fail: a mixture of brown rice, lentils and fresh vegetables. Perfect for any time of the year and to have on hand a satiating and simple recipe. You just have to try it.


Half a cup of cooked lentils
Half cup of cooked brown rice
A carrot
A piece of cabbage or purple cabbage
Chopped chives or chives
A spoonful of soy sauce
A spoonful of lemon juice
A teaspoon of olive oil
Salt and pepper

Place in a container suitable for salads the lentils previously soaked and cooked -fruits-, brown rice (yamani is good), grated carrot and cabbage or cabbage cut fine. If you wanted to add a little tomato, it will not sit wrong, that’s for sure. Prepare the dressing with the soy sauce, lemon juice and olive oil. Garnish the salad, mixing well.

Already on the end, season with salt and pepper, finishing this satiating salad with a touch of the green part of the chopped chives, or finely chopped chives. So you can enjoy a well complete dish, with many nutrients, flavors, colors and textures. And totally light, of course.
